Considering the business hours of the Taipei Children's Recreation Center, the Taipei Zoo, major private amusement parks, and the daily routines of children and infants, opening hours are scheduled as below:

(1) Monday to Friday: 09:00-17:00
(2) Summer/winter vacation and consecutive holidays (except the last day): 09:00-20:00
(3) Saturday , Sunday and the last day of consecutive holidays: 09:00-18:00
(4) Closed on Lunar New Year's Eve
(5) Please refer to notices issued by the Park for any adjustment of opening hours

Does the Park provide bicycle parking?

There are two bicycle parking lots near the Park:

64 spaces on the inner side of the pavement at the intersection of Chengde Road and Shishang Road.
76 spaces at the intersection of Jihe Road and Lane 587, Wenlin Road (next to Meilun Park).

Are pets allowed in the Park?

No insects, animals, or pets are allowed in the Park. Persons entering the Park with the above will be asked to leave the Park immediately. No refund will be made for any payments that have been made. Visually impaired persons may bring certified guide dogs, and professional guide dog trainers may enter the Park with the visually impaired person and their guide dog puppy in training.

Can I use my EasyCard to pay for the admission?

Yes. EasyCards are the main payment accepted at the Park. You can use it to pay for admission, rides, as well as theater entry; paper tickets are supplementary. If you do not already hold an EasyCard, these can be purchased at the ticketing booth sitor Center. Free refund is available upon exit.

Are credit cards and Traveler Cards accepted?

Credit Traveler Card payments are not accepted. The main payment methods used in the Park are EasyCards (which can be purchased by cash) and the Park's joint credit cards. Please note that credit cards with EasyCard function will top up automatically (once a day max.) when funds are low. Should your card fail to top up automatically, you can top them up manually with cash at the top-up machines, designated stores, and the Visitor Center.

Can one EasyCard be shared among several people?

EasyCards can be shared among multiple people of the same status (e.g. all regular tickets or all charity tickets) to enter the Park. Rides do not differentiate between statuses, i.e. EasyCards can be shared among persons of different statuses, e.g. EasyCard regular visitors or charity ticket holders; charges are based on the number players per use.

Does the Park offer group bookings and tours?

Booking reservations for admission and video tours for groups of 30 people or above are available on our website.
* Group bookings for weekday admissions are free if made before 17:00 on the day before visiting. Group bookings for holiday admissions receive a 30% discount.
*Video tours are only available on weekdays.

Can I buy a day pass for the whole park?

1. Admission and ride tickets are sold separately:
◎ Admission: NT$30 (regular), NT$15 (concessions), and 30% discount for groups of 30 or more.
◎Based on the duration and popularity of the rides, the 13 rides fall into two rate categories: NT$20 and NT$30.
2. The playgrounds, sandpits, and large slides are for free.
3. Visitors may choose between the free and payable facilities according to their time and budget.

Are there any age, height, or other restrictions and requirements for using the facilities?

The Park rides, each with different rotational speeds, swinging heights, and impact forces. Regulations comply with the manufacturers' instructions regarding user height and physical condition. However, there are no age limits. Furthermore, access to the Ball Pool and the slides at the Sandpit are limited to children between 90 and 150cm. There is no height restriction to the Sandpit itself.

Do children under 85cm (or over 85cm and under 2 years of age) need to pay for the facilities?

To encourage children to come and play, the Ocean Carousel, Ferris Wheel, and Orbiterra starship are free for children under 85cm, or taller but under 2 years of age (with valid ID), on the condition that they are accompanied by a paying adult.

Can I use the facilities if I'm pregnant?

1. Ocean Carousel: Pregnant women are asked to make their own judgement regarding whether they are fit to ride the Ocean Carousel and to please sit on flat-surfaced seats only (e.g. cups, shells, or submarine-style seats).

Do disabled persons have priority use of the facilities?

As a public organization, the Park does not operate for profit like private enterprises, and therefore operates on a first come first served basis without any differentiation of identity or status. Under this principle of fairness, there is presently no priority use of the facilities. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

What accessible services does the Park offer?

(1) Express admission: There are group and accessibility gates at the Park's main entrance for persons holding disability ID, charity cards, companion ID, senior citizen ID, as well as persons with disabilities, children accompanied by elderly persons, and expectant mothers with buggies, who, upon verification by Park staff, may enter the Park by express admission.

(2) Waiting in Line seats: To avoid excessive standing in the following persons, when disabled, elderly or persons otherwise in need are queuing for the facilities, our staff will provide dedicated seating at the facility entrance or near the control room, until the accompanying person awaits their turn, and they can use the facilities together.

(3) Stroller/wheelchair loan: To improve overall service quality, the Visitor Center offers strollers and wheelchair loan service. The Ferris wheel and Orbiterra starship also provide wheelchairs for person with reduced mobility during the rides.

(4) For visitors with disabilities, there are priority seats in the dining areas, accessible parking spaces, lavatories, elevators, and charging stations for electric wheelchairs in the park. New, accessible playground equipment has also been introduced in the sandpit for children between 2 and 12.

How do I make a reservation for the Orbiterra starship?

Orbiterra starship reservation time slots are split into 20-minute intervals. Search for the official Taipei Children's Amusement Park website (open with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge), and click on “Popular Reservations” → “Orbiterra starship.”
Before making your reservation, please be aware that children under 100 cm must be accompanied by an adult.
Once your reservation is complete, please wait in line with your companions at the Orbiterra starship entrance to check in during your specified time slot. Those who miss their time slot will be viewed as having given up their reservations. You may still have to wait 10 minutes or so on-site after checking in.
When checking in, please have your valid reservation voucher (QR code) ready. Staff will admit riders in sequential order according to your reserved time slot. Vouchers (QR codes) become invalid after use and cannot be screenshotted and used.
TCAP is not liable for compensation for any circumstances in which a natural disaster or other emergency situations result in the suspension of the Orbiterra starship. TCAP reserves the right to adjust reservations, ride capacity, and operating times according to actual on-site conditions.
Free rides:
Individuals with disabilities (with valid ID) may enjoy one free ride, with the addition of one free ride for a necessary companion with documentation.

Before making your reservation, please be aware that children under 110cm are not allowed on this ride, and children under 110 cm must be accompanied by an adult.
Once your reservation is complete, please wait in line with your companions at the Bumper Cars entrance to check in during your specified time slot. Those who miss their time slot will be viewed as having given up their reservations.

Why is there no immediate charge and entry to the Orbiterra starship and Bumper Cars when I have a reservation?

Orbiterra starship and Bumper Car sessions are 20 minutes each (about 4 rounds). If the number of reservations for the upcoming session is not at full capacity, visitors queuing without reservation will be let in to fill the vacancies. At this point, visitors with reservations but who arrived late will be charged and arranged for the next available ride.

Does the Park provide catering services?

Visitors can use the tables and chairs around the Park shops, even if they are not ordering. However, as seat numbers are limited, please do not keep them occupied for long periods of time, so that other visitors may use them, too.

What should I do if I find a lost item in the Park?

Found items can be handed in at the Visitor Center, where it will be entered into the lost-and-found process according to Civil Legislations; or hand it directly to the Police for claim announcement.

Is there a lost and found office in the Park?

Yes. Lost items can be claimed at the Visitor Center during business hours. The claimant must fill out a form and show valid personal ID to prove their identity and ownership.

Does the Park provide drinking water?

Drinking fountains with chilled and warm water are available in the open areas of all floors (eco-friendly folding cups provided). Hot water is available at the Visitor Center, nursing room, and Emergency Station.

Where can I find an ATM in the Park?

ATMs are located at the Visitor Center on the 1^st floor and in the convenience store on the 2^nd floor. However, due to high demands, it is advised to have cash ready before entering the Park.

Can I use coupons or coins from the old Taipei Children's Recreation Center still valid?

Old coupons are no longer accepted. However, any remaining balance can be transferred onto an EasyCard or refunded as cash at the ticketing booths or Visitor Center.

Is smoking completly prohibited in the Park?
